Centre to set up 12 special courts to exclusively deal with cases against 1581 tainted lawmakers
The Centre has decided to set up special courts to deal exclusively with cases against 1581 MPs and MLAS and to dispose them off within a year. Centre’s decision could be a body blow to politicians who, despite facing serious charges, have stayed in Parliament and state assemblies because of delays in trying them.
