Maharashtra: Farmer who attempted suicide at secretariat dies; Opposition blames govt

The 84-year-old farmer, who had consumed a poisonous chemical at the Maharashtra secretariat on January 22 seeking adequate compensation for land, died at the JJ Hospital tonight, police said.
