CJI: Lack of facilities in courts violation of litigants’ right to life

Anguished by the state of trial court infrastructure which delayed disposal of cases, Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra has said failure of state governments to provide basic facilities to courts would be a violation of litigants’ right to life, which included right to speedy trial.
