New air links to boost Buddhist tourism
The move is part of the tourism ministry’s plan to woo 490 million Buddhist audience across the globe. And to ramp up tourism numbers, the focus, tourism minister K J Alphons said, is on enhancing infrastructure and improving road and air connectivity.
